Dave Holby's amazing World Record row is finally over!
On the 28th may 2008 Dave started out on his incredibly ambitious attempt to row 40,073km - a distance equivalent to rowing around the world - for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity. 2 years 7 months later, on December 18th 2010, with a virtual map charting his progress around the globe (dynamite-idea.com), and having never actually left, he was 'back' in Basingstoke - see a video of his last day on YouTube
So far Dave has raised over £17,000 and with the row due to be officially recognised as a World Record by Guiness in the next couple of months the fundraising page is still open - to help please go to justgiving.com.
